Student Responsibilities

Students are expected to:

• Arrive 10–15 minutes before class begins.
• Participate fully in all required course activities and hands-on skills practice.
• Treat the instructor and fellow students with courtesy and respect.
• Silence cell phones and minimize distractions during instruction.
• Follow all safety guidelines and instructor directions.
• Notify the instructor in advance if accommodations are needed.

Professional Conduct

Heart & Health Training Services LLC is committed to maintaining a positive and distraction-free learning environment. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes learning and mutual respect.

Disruptive Behavior

The instructor reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to refuse participation, dismiss, or remove any individual whose behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, threatening, unsafe, or otherwise interferes with the instructor’s ability to teach or with the learning experience of other students.

The instructor is under no obligation to allow continued participation by any individual whose conduct creates a distraction or negatively impacts the class environment.

Known Conflicts and Registration Restrictions

Individuals who register for a class despite having a known personal, professional, or interpersonal conflict with the instructor or another student, or who are aware of circumstances reasonably likely to create tension, disruption, intimidation, or distraction during class, may have their registration canceled before the start of class at the instructor’s discretion.

Heart & Health Training Services LLC reserves the right to deny or cancel participation when doing so is necessary to preserve a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment for all participants.

Dismissal and Removal From Class

Students who are removed from class due to inappropriate, disruptive, threatening, or unsafe behavior will not be permitted to continue participating in the course.

Students who are dismissed from class or whose registration is canceled under these policies will not be entitled to a refund.

Cancellation, No-Show, and Late Arrival Policies

• Registration fees are non-refundable.
• Students who do not attend class without advance notice are considered no-shows and will forfeit their registration fee.
• Students arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time may be required to reschedule.
• Rescheduling availability is not guaranteed.

Inclement Weather

If severe weather or hazardous conditions make travel unsafe, Heart & Health Training Services LLC may postpone or reschedule a class. Students will be notified as soon as possible and offered an alternate class date or a full refund if necessary.

Certification Requirements

Successful completion of the course requires attendance and participation in all components established by the American Heart Association. Students who successfully complete course requirements will receive an official American Heart Association eCard.
